About Saddle

Saddle builds working software from a description. You write what you want in ordinary language — “a sign-up sheet for Saturday's clean-up,” “a hub for our wedding weekend” — and Saddle works out the screens, the data behind them, and how the pieces fit together. Then it puts the result online, on a link you can send.

What comes back is not a mockup. Published apps have genuine user accounts: people sign in, save their own data, and see only what belongs to them. You can edit the content directly whenever you like, or ask for changes in plain language and watch the app change shape around the data it already holds. Hosting, storage and accounts are part of it — there is nothing else to set up and nothing else to pay for.

It exists because the distance between having an idea and having something people can actually use is still absurdly long. Most of that distance is setup — environments, hosting, sign-ins, databases — and almost none of it is the idea. That setup is also what keeps this work chained to a desk: the AI will write you an app anywhere, and then ask you for a laptop and a terminal to put it online. Saddle does that part too, so the whole thing fits in the time you actually have, on the phone you already have.
